easyJet has revealed the destinations Brits are booking most for May half term 2026, with Spain once again topping the charts for sunshine escapes.
The airline says it will operate more than 16,400 flights across Europe and North Africa during the school holiday period, including over 9,400 flights from the UK alone. More than half a million customers are expected to travel over the first weekend of the break.
Palma, Alicante and Malaga remain among the airline’s most-booked destinations this May half term, as travellers continue to favour reliable sunshine, beaches and short-haul flight times.
Seville is also seeing a major rise in popularity this year, with bookings up 25 per cent compared to May half-term last year.

Ljubljana and Tbilisi are trending for European city breaks
While traditional city breaks remain popular, easyJet says travellers are increasingly looking beyond the classic European hotspots.
Ljubljana in Slovenia and Tbilisi in Georgia are both seeing growing demand following the launch of new easyJet routes, with travellers drawn to their culture, architecture and good-value food and hotels.
Meanwhile, Milan, Nice, Barcelona, Paris and Amsterdam remain among the airline’s top-performing city break destinations for the school holidays.

Rhodes, Tunisia and Morocco see surge in sunshine holiday bookings
Greece continues to perform strongly this year, with Rhodes emerging as one of easyJet’s fastest-growing destinations for May half-term. The airline says bookings to the Greek island are up 19 per cent compared to last year.
North African destinations are also proving increasingly popular, with bookings to Enfidha in Tunisia and Marrakech in Morocco rising by up to 15 per cent year-on-year.
easyJet says travellers are continuing to look for warm-weather destinations that offer value for money alongside dependable sunshine.

easyJet launches Spring 2027 flights and Easter holiday seats
Alongside revealing this year’s biggest travel trends, easyJet has also launched its latest “Big Seat Release” for Spring 2027.
The airline has put more than 27 million seats on sale for travel between 22 March and 13 June 2027, including Easter holiday dates, with fares from £18.99.
Destinations already on sale include Malaga, Alicante, Palma, Tenerife, Paris and Amsterdam, while easyJet holidays has also released thousands of package holidays for Spring and early Summer 2027.
