Family Traveller Awards 2017

Family Traveller Awards

Here at Family Traveller, we make it our mission to discover the best family holidays in the world. We pride ourselves in sharing accurate, reliable information to make family holidays extra special and memorable – which is why the Family Traveller Awards is so integral to our mission.

The Family Traveller Awards acknowledge and congratulate the best of the best from Best Family Theme Park, to Best Family Cruise Line, and everything else in between. The inaugural Family Traveller Awards launched Summer 2015 and was greeted with an abundance of support from the travel industry and the public alike.

The awards process is simple; nominations are open to travel brands and representatives of travel brands including PR agencies, and can be entered into one or more of our categories. Then our panel of expert judges get together to whittle down a shortlist.

This year’s judges include:

Jane Anderson
Family Traveller
Simon Reeve
BBC presenter
Mariella Frostrup
Radio 4
Sue Ward Davies
Elle magazine
Jane Knight
The Times

As soon as we reveal the shortlist, we open the vote to the most important judge; you, the public on July 11, 2017. We’re thrilled to say that we received more than 27,000 public votes in the last Family Traveller Awards.

The first Family Traveller Awards ceremony was held at The View from The Shard – which was a phenomenal success. Our glamorous presenter Katy Hill ensured the evening kicked off with a bang and kept everyone thoroughly entertained. Last year CBeebies’s Dr Ranj hosted proceedings at The White Company flagship store near London’s Sloane Square. On both occasions we were delighted with all the feedback from guests, both on the night, and via social media in the days that followed. Winners were tweeted live throughout the event.

Following on from the success and the momentum generated in the Family Traveller Awards 2015 and 2016, we’ll be doing it all again in 2017 with an exciting new venue and presenter! If you want to get involved, you can head over to our nominations page and nominate your favourite.
