Why Go?

As the folks at Funk the Family say, it’s a ‘rather splendid, all-day festival, born in Brighton and Hove’. And what’s not splendid about circus, music, craft beers and the classic seaside puppets Punch and Judy? Hartbeeps’s bag of magical tricks includes cheeky puppets, tambourines and maracas. Get messy with the little ones as they learn bushcraft and get your groove on with the B-boying group StreetFunk. Clown Zaz from Circus PaZaz promises to be at his zingiest best, while his team shows off some nifty gravity-defying tricks in the giant Cirque du Funk area.

The massive musical line-up includes Vula, Atlantic Horns and other decibel rousers. At the Club Tropicana DJ bar, getting his funk on is the loveable rogue pup Rowlf the Dog – a pert, jazz-loving canine. Woof, we say!
