La Bergerie De Terre Blanche

Last updated 2nd June 2017

Why go?

Just in case you need any more reasons to visit La Bergerie you might like to know that it’s located within the grounds of the Terre Blanche Gold Resort in Tourettes, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, and with that comes the use of a world-class golf course, spa, tennis courts and babysitting services. On top of that, you’ll have your own private chef, housekeeper and hostess to organise your every wish. Then there’s three charming French villages nearby, Callian, Seillans and Fayence, where cobbled streets are dotted with ice cream shops, boutiques and cafés with rosé on tap.

Who is it good for?

The property suits families with any aged children – whether you have babies and want to enjoy a holiday with friends, have young active children who want to use the hotel’s facilities and splash in the enormous pool or teenagers on the hunt for stars at the nearby beaches in Cannes (35 minutes away).

Accommodation

Each of the six bedrooms is en-suite, with four of them opening out on to a terrace through French windows. There are four double rooms and two twins, but cots can be added.

Activities

Aside from the hotel’s golf, tennis and spa facilities, the villa itself is well equipped for a family holiday. There’s a pool house with a barbeque – if you want to give your chef a night off – a cinema room and den (with Wi-Fi of course) for indoorsy types, while a boules piste and exquisite garden, that looks as though it’s straight out of a Monet painting, will keep the troops occupied while you digest a long lazy lunch. Out and about there’s the option to go mountain biking, climbing, horse riding or rag a buggy around sand dunes. Cruises on luxury yachts around St Tropez can be arranged, or book a babysitter and head off for an afternoon of wine tasting at the local vineyards.

Food

As you’d expect from a villa of this caliber and in this location, the food is out-of-this-world good. Your chef will have breakfast prepared each morning on the terrace, with all your favourites – even Coco Pops if you fancy. Lunch and dinner ranges from three-course meals to sprawling buffets, the wine cellar is always stocked and the fridge full of treats from le supermarché.

Getting there

Nice airport is 40 minutes away, both easyJet and British Airways operate regular flights from London, Manchester and Birmingham. If you want to arrive in style, there’s a helipad 10-minutes away.

Price

La Bergerie is available for long weekend breaks (selected dates) and a seven night stay costs from £1,800 per person (based on 12 guests sharing, exclusive use only).  This price includes seven nights luxury accommodation including a team of three live-in staff.
