Luxury eco hotel in Sri Lanka – Jetwing Kaduruketha

Last updated 19th November 2018

Have you experienced eco-luxury yet?

There is a growing trend for eco-luxe holidays, as families who love spoiling themselves with luxury (who doesn’t?) increasingly also want to care for the planet while they travel.

Agro-tourism is a term used to describe working farms which invite tourists to come and stay and get involved. Jetwing Kaduruketha is the very first ago-tourism resort in Sri Lanka. The stunning resort has been built based on sustainable design principles and is nestled in an environment of lush paddy fields and mountain ranges.

While staying at Jetwing Kaduruketha has the feel of authentic Sri Lankan village life, don’t worry, you’ll also find all the facilities you need for a stress-free family holiday, including an on-site restaurant, an outdoor pool, a full concierge service and of course, free WiFi.

The resort offers 25 dwellings, spaced out over an expanse of 60 acres, each surrounded by forest and paddy fields which provide privacy. A major portion of the land on the resort has been given over to the cultivation and harvesting of paddy, so guests can experience the culture and daily life of a typical Sri Lankan farming community. Indeed, the whole resort was inspired by the simplicity of Sri Lankan village life and traditional Sri Lankan hospitality.
