To enter our VisitMalta holiday competition just answer the question below. The prize is a three-night stay in Malta for a family of four (two adults and two children aged 16 or under), and includes half-board accommodation at a specially selected four-star family hotel, along with return UK flights for four.

  • Terms and conditions
    • This prize draw is run by VisitMalta UK through activity via the Family Traveller Website Competition and no other party.
    • The prize consists of
    • A three night stay at a 4* Hotel in Malta on a half board basis for a *family of four people with return economy direct flights to Malta for four people supplied by KMMalta Airlines (departures available from London Gatwick and London Heathrow only).
    • * A family in the context of this competition refers to 2 adults and 2 children up to the age of 16 at time of travel or 1 adult and up to 3 children up to the age of 16 at the time of travel.
    • The prize has an estimated value of £1500 GBP.
    • The maximum value of the return flight per person is £300 GBP including all taxes, APD and luggage costs.
    • All elements of the prize are subject to availability and are non-transferable. There are no cash alternatives.
    • The winner must be 18 years or over and live in the UK or Ireland.
    • Only one entry per person is allowed.
    • No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
    • The winners (subject to availability) will be drawn at random after the competition has closed by Family Traveller. Should the winner not meet the eligibility criteria then their winner status and entitlement will become void and another winner will be chosen. The decision of the Promoter as to the winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • Winners have 30 days to confirm their prize and respond from date of email sent to winner, if no communication in reply is received then a redraw will take place and this process repeated until the prize is claimed.
    • No entrants can be employed by Visit Malta, Mirabelle Communications, FINN Partners or Family Traveller.
    • The prize is subject to availability and flight departures are only available from London Heathrow Airport or London Gatwick Airport.
    • The airline tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods or services or used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Miles and mileage accrual will not be permitted on these tickets.
    • Flight tickets are valid for travel in Economy Class on a return basis. The relevant class fare conditions shall apply.
    • Only one hold bag of 20kg and one cabin bag will be included as part of luggage allowance per person travelling – any additional luggage and/or sports equipment will be at the expense of the person travelling.
    • The prize includes a three night hotel stay for a *family of four people at a 4* property in Malta half board. The hotel the winner will stay at will be chosen by VisitMalta UK upon receipt of dates from the winner, the winner is unable to choose a property. The winner is liable for all other charges and incidentals at the hotel during their stay. The hotel details will be confirmed directly to the winner upon completing their details and VisitMalta confirming availability.
    • Booking request is to be made by sending an email to: manuel.holden-ayala@visitmalta.com who will connect the winner for availability and booking. VisitMalta requires a minimum 21 working days to confirm flight and accommodation details. Tickets cannot be used in relation to or in conjunction with a group.
    • Passengers are responsible for obtaining the necessary passport and/or visas as well as any other requirements needed for the destinations and transfer points well in advance.
    • All other costs including airline transfers, eco tax in Malta (payable at the hotel on either arrival or departure) travel insurance, personal expenditure and other incidental expenses are not part of the prize.
    • It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure they have a valid passport and obtain any necessary visas and vaccinations for their trip. Essential Information – Visit Malta
    • The winner must be one of the person/s travelling for the prize.
    • Airline Terms and conditions are applicable.
    • Visit Malta accept no responsibility if flights are cancelled or changed after the booking is made due to reasons beyond its control. Winners are always advised to check online the timings of the departure and arrivals of the flights they will be travelling on.
    • Once flight arrangements are confirmed and booked, you will be sent fight details. It will not be possible thereafter to amend any details or dates.
    • The Prize must be redeemed no more than 1 year from the date of announcement of the winner.
    • Visit Malta reserves the right to withdraw any prize should it later be found out the terms and conditions were not adhered to.
    • Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the promoter and accordingly the promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attached to the promoter as a result thereof.
    • We reserve the right to withhold or withdraw the Prize if, in our sole discretion, it appears that a person claiming it does not fully meet the Eligibility Criteria, if a Purchase is cancelled or invalidated prior to the Closing Date, or we deem the Purchase to have been made fraudulently, invalidly or using automated means. We reserve the right to require reasonable proof of identity and eligibility from any person claiming a Prize.
    • Any additional costs which may be incurred by this Prize Draw in the context of participation, such as internet costs and other additional services are not included in the Prize Draw and must be paid by you separately.
    • No alternative reward will be provided in whole or in part for the Prize, except that in the event of circumstances outside of our control we reserve the right to substitute similar rewards of equal value. The Prize is subject to promotional availability and is not transferable.
    • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept any responsibility or liability under or in connection with this Prize Draw and/or these Terms and Conditions (including without limitation as a result of technical fault, computer or electronic malfunction, or incomplete, illegible, late, lost or fraudulent entries). Any statutory rights you have are not affected.
    • Insofar as permitted by law, we will not be responsible or liable to compensate you, or accept any liability, for any personal loss, expense or damage in connection with this Prize Draw or accepting or using the Prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
    • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to cancel, modify this Prize Draw and/or these Terms and Conditions, at any time before you have accepted it/them, including but not limited to terminating or withdrawing the Prize at any time.
    • If any paragraph in these Terms and Conditions is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other paragraphs of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
    • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
