The UAE has become one of the easiest long-haul family holiday destinations for UK travellers. Think year-round sunshine, huge waterparks, family-friendly beaches, world-class theme parks and direct flights from airports across the UK.
Now, following updated Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) travel advice, destinations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah are firmly back on families’ radar. While the FCDO notes that the wider regional situation remains unpredictable and travellers should continue monitoring updates, the change is expected to boost confidence among holidaymakers considering a Middle East escape.
ABTA chief executive Mark Tanzer described the change as “the most important development for tourism to and through the Middle East in some time”, noting that many people had delayed booking holidays while monitoring developments in the region. If you’re now considering a sunshine break, here are 10 of the best all-inclusive TUI resorts for families across the UAE and beyond.

Are UAE holidays safe for families?
The FCDO no longer advises against all but essential travel to the UAE. However, it notes that the wider regional situation remains unpredictable and advises travellers to monitor updates before departure.
ABTA says the change should help restore consumer confidence and could encourage families who had delayed booking to finally secure their summer or winter sun holiday. As always, travellers should check the latest FCDO advice before travelling and ensure they have appropriate travel insurance in place.
