A spectacular new nature-themed attraction invites families to explore prehistoric giants, microscopic worlds and the deepest ocean depths – all without leaving Singapore. By Stephanie Zheng
If you’ve ever wanted to stand face-to-face with a Mesozoic dinosaur, peer into the glowing world of deep-sea creatures, or feel the electricity of a monsoon storm, Singapore’s newest attraction has you covered. Exploria opens its doors at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve on 3 March 2026, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting family days out in Southeast Asia.
Spanning 10,000 square metres – making it one of the region’s largest indoor, nature-themed multimedia attractions – Exploria takes visitors on a journey through five immersive worlds, each one revealing a hidden corner of the natural world through breathtaking technology, real-world science and hands-on interactivity.
Five Worlds to Discover

The Planet Awakens, Exploria’s signature light show spectacle at Our Interconnected World.
Families begin their adventure at Our Interconnected World, the central hub anchored by a four-metre pulsing LED globe. It’s a fitting introduction to Exploria’s central message: that every action, no matter how small, ripples outward and shapes the world around us.

AR windows in Realm of the Giants bring static installations of prehistoric creatures to life.
From there, the five worlds branch out. In Realm of the Giants, visitors come face-to-face with Mesozoic dinosaurs and colossal sea creatures through monumental installations and augmented reality windows. The centrepiece — an eight-minute 360-degree standing theatre called The Giants Show — sweeps audiences through 500 million years of life on Earth. Little ones (and grown-ups) will be wide-eyed.

Micro Worlds lets visitors zoom in on a wonder library of hidden microscopic life.
Micro Worlds flips the lens entirely, magnifying the hidden universe of plankton, fungi, insect colonies and bacteria through interactive glass orbs and projection domes. It’s a gentle reminder that the most extraordinary things are sometimes the ones we can’t see with the naked eye.

A desert simulator at Exploria’s Bitdeer AI Extreme Frontiers.
For older kids and teens, Bitdeer AI Extreme Frontiers is likely to be a highlight. Simulator rooms transport visitors to some of the planet’s harshest environments: imagine stepping into a room heated to 40 degrees Celsius to experience the scorching desert world of the Namaqua chameleon, or bracing for the chill of a melting Arctic as polar bears navigate vanishing ice.

Hanging foliage simulates the rainforest canopy at Infinite Wonderland’s Sounds of the Forest.
Infinite Wonderland brings the lush spectacle of rainforests and coral reefs to life through multi-sensory richness, while World of Darkness uncovers the eerie, glowing secrets of caves and the deep ocean — bioluminescent vampire squids, eyeless yeti crabs and blind cave fish among them. Both are genuinely stunning.
Built for Families, Designed for Teens
Exploria has been designed with a specific challenge in mind: how do you get teenagers genuinely excited about nature? The answer, it turns out, involves RFID wristbands, digital avatars, species badges and a live leaderboard. Every visitor gets a wristband that unlocks interactive installations, reveals hidden “Hidden Gems” and triggers photo-worthy “Memory Hook” moments throughout the experience. Profiles stay active for a year, making return visits feel fresh: handy for families with annual passes.
Younger children will be swept up by the spectacle and scale, while adults can appreciate the science-led storytelling that underpins every exhibit. This is the rare attraction that genuinely has something for everyone — and doesn’t feel like a compromise for any of them.
The Practical Bits
Exploria is open from 11am to 8pm on weekdays, and until 9pm on weekends and public holidays. Standard admission is S$38 for adults and S$28 for children and students. Singapore residents can sign up for a free WildPass digital membership to access discounted rates: S$34.20 for adults, S$25.20 for children and students, and S$20 for seniors.
To celebrate the opening, limited-time bundles valid until 31 May pair admission with a collectible Exploria-themed blind box, created in collaboration with Singapore toy designer Mighty Jaxx. For families planning multiple visits, the Friends of Mandai Ultimate membership covers unlimited access to all wildlife parks and attractions across the reserve, including Exploria.
