Get your Mickey Mouse ears ready, because Disney Cruise Lines will launch their brand-new Disney Adventure ship out of Singapore from September 2025, for 3 and 4-night cruises in Southeast Asia.

Singapore is the homeport for 2025’s new Disney Cruise Line
Why families should get excited about the new Disney line
Bringing a Disney homeport to Singapore is excellent news for families, meaning there’s no need to fly to the USA to give your kids some Disney cruise magic. It’s also good news for Singapore, whose tourist board are in collaboration with Disney to bring the cruises to Southeast Asia – as a move to open up the region as a family cruising hub, this could be the start of a whole new chapter.
So get ready to make memories, because magical family adventures are on the horizon.

Everything we know so far about Disney Adventure
Disney Adventure is the seventh ship in Disney’s fleet, and will set sail from Marina Bay Cruise Centre as of September 2025, for a period of at least five years. The new routes will house up to 6,700 guests and 2,500 crew members per voyage, meaning there’s plenty of space for everyone to come along: ideal for multi-gen and group holidays, so make sure you tell grandma and grandad.
There are seven exciting themed areas throughout the ship including Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, Marvel Landing and San Fransokyo Place. If that wasn’t enough to raise kids’ excitement levels to stratospheric, there’s a whole host of brand-new Disney features onboard, with experiences specially created for Southeast Asia.

Disney and Pixar come together in spectacular shows
Disney Adventure’s 7 exciting themes
The heart of the ship is Disney Imagination Garden: an enchanted valley, lush garden, and open-air performance venue in one. With 100 years of Disney adventures in the back catalogue, you’ll find everyone from Moana to Mowgli popping up to say hello. Then there’s Disney Discovery Reef, a nautical-themed shopping and dining area – expect Disney and Pixar classics like Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, and Luca woven into the theme.
Big Hero 6 is the order of the day at San Fransokyo Street: a family entertainment area with buzzy street market vibes, interactive games, activities, shops and cinemas – perfect for energetic little heroes. And onto Wayfinder Bay: a beautiful poolside retreat, reflecting the Pacific Islands setting of Moana – we’re especially excited about this one for some sneaky parental downtime.

Our Spidey senses are tingling
Town Square is a fantastical forest of shops, lounges, cafes, restaurants and entertainment venues, with nods to royal Disney classics such as Tangled, Cinderella, Frozen and The Princess and the Frog, so don’t forget your crowns. And at Marvel Landing it’s all about Marvel’s superheroes, with Avengers-level adventures and all-new attractions. Lastly, it’s Buzz Lightyear to the rescue at Toy Story Place, an interactive playland of themed restaurants and water play areas, where the world of Pixar’s Toy Story will spring to life.

Disney Adventure
Tweens and teens get their space on Disney Adventure
Older kids will have plenty of options on Disney Adventure, whether it’s hanging out at the upper deck waterslides and pools, karaoke, silent DJ sessions, animation classes or game shows. Under the supervision of trained Disney counsellors, they can join in with themed onboard clubs, and then there’s Edge: a place for tweens ages 11 to 14, with music, video games and other activities. From 14-17, Edge becomes Vibe, with movies, interactive games, music and making new friends being the focus.
Adults will find some Disney magic too
As well as relaxing poolside with a cool drink, there’s plenty on offer for adults to stay entertained while the kids are enjoying themselves. From themed bars and lounges to shopping, spas and wellness to fitness – all with a Disney twist of course – you may find that adults have just as magical a time onboard Disney Adventure.

Stateroom, Disney Adventure
Want to sleep like Beauty? So do we!
Whether you opt for an ocean vista or scenic ship interior view, Disney Adventure staterooms promise comfortable nights in cosy cabins, with kids so tired out from all their adventures they’ll go to sleep without complaining, dreaming of the next day’s fun. (We can’t actually promise this, of course.)
We particularly like the sound of the Concierge staterooms, which give exclusive access to the Concierge lounge, luxury shops, spa, and sundeck. The Concierge support begins before you board, helping you to plan your trip, and during your journey you’ll receive assistance with everything from reservations to special occasions.
