What are Jungle Kingdomes? Only the most unusual guesthouses you’ve ever seen. Also, essentially, domes. However, these particular domes are made out of aircrete: the same material Robert Downey Jr. used to build his ‘dome-home’ in Malibu, and if it’s good enough for Iron Man.
Although Jungle Kingdomes haven’t featured in Architectural Digest, yet, it’s only a question of time before everyone wants a piece of this cuteness.
We love the fact that the domes are supremely fire and termite-proof, as well as naturally insulated: cool or cosy, depending on the weather. And in other good news, while they might look like pixie houses, they’re also remarkably tough. Capable, in fact, of withstanding anything the elements throw at them: ideal tropical housing.

Divers are drawn here by the clear, clean waters and incredible marine life, but Siquijor is great for snorkelling too, and only the perfect place for kids to mask up and give underwater exploration a go for the first time.
The beaches are also famously lovely. But if the island looks familiar it’s most likely you’ve seen the much Instagrammed Cambugahay Falls – usually with some daredevil type swinging across their impossibly blue pools. Something you could maybe try for yourself one day soon!
